The Restalrig Reels is my new single, released 29th March 2024.
 
The opening motif of this track was composed on tour in America last year. The second tune is a reworking of a competition-style tune composed by one of today’s foremost pipers, Alasdair Henderson. Finally, the last tune in this set is a Cape Breton fiddle classic with a strong helping of bagpipe goodness. 
 
This is the second of two upbeat tracks which effortlessly intertwine top quality tune playing with an exciting rhythm section. The fresh compositions are traditional in essence but have glimpses of modernity and flair throughout to keep the listener engaged. The new music showcases a new direction with a heavily pop-influenced sound.
